Theresa Poalucci
My husband and I were both working in Seattle when we bought our home in Tucson. We visited it one a year to do some sort of home improvement project for a week, and we rented it out a month at a time for many years before we actually retired and moved in ourselves. I was on the board for an Arts Group in Shoreline, Washington and for one of our fundraisers we were having an auction. My donation was to give our house in Tucson away for a week as a vacation. The gentleman who bought it at the auction was excited to go, as it would be his first time in Arizona. When he and his wife got to the house they called me and left a message “Theresa, Bob here, I was expecting a condo, not a whole house,” he said. A few days later he called and left yet another message “Theresa, Bob here, we were going to have breakfast on the patio but when we went to open the slider we noticed a bobcat was lounging on the patio table.” I have always wanted to use the picture he took of the bobcat, but here I have put him in a more natural environment.
