During our travels in various parts of the world, we spent many pleasant hours in sidewalk cares. Aside from great people watching, these venues offer opportunities for close interactions with birds who come to scavenge crumbs scattered about the paving. Sometimes they venture boldly to the tabletop. This miniature sculpture is the result of crumbs shared with birds in the sidewalk cafes of Paris.
