Oil
30 x 40 in
$30,000
Medium & Technique: Heavy oil impasto on canvas
Observations: Stable traction fracturing (drying cracks) is present exclusively within the area of highest impasto density in the upper right corner location. These fractures are localized to the upper paint layer and do not penetrate the underlying ground or expose the canvas substrate.
Stability: Very good. The paint layer is flat, shows no signs of cupping, lifting or cleavage from the support, and is structurally secure. No immediate intervention is required.
