Beth Ray is an award winning plein air and impressionist painter and teacher inspired by the desert southwest. Since 1994 she has been a professional oil painter and teacher.  She has taught painting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Pima Community College.  She currently teaches through Green Valley Recreation and does frequent demos at Indigo Desert Ranch, Art Collective located with the K. Newby Gallery in Tubac, Arizona.  Her favorite painting subjects are the landscapes of  Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Europe.
