Artist Statement: This piece is the latest of several assemblages that I create from a mix of sculpture and found objects. It features a small version of the dancing hares combined with vintage tools, clock parts, etc., and is wired to light a vintage-style light bulb. 23"h x 14"w x 13"l Bronze, wood, various found objects, and glass. One of a kind piece. Detail about "Carpe Diem" rabbits: This piece was a lot of fun to create. I envisioned two jackrabbits happily joined in a pas de deux - a joyful response to a new day.
