Thomas deDecker is an American born artist. He was born August 8, 1951 in Appleton Wisconsin. The start of his career began with studies at Bringham Young University in Provo, Utah. His paintings resemble impressionistic landscapes and Native American lifestyles. Some of his new work deals with abstract impressionism and realism. His work captures the feelings and emotions of the landscape. Throughout his career he has been recognized as one of the top artists in his field, and was awarded the Artist of the Year, 1986 and Outstanding Artist by the CM Russell Museum. Thomas is also a philanthropist and has a big heart for people.
